Al' (short for Alanimal) started playing at the age of 19 when he bought his first drum kit home claiming he borrowed it ! Playing for 27 years in various rock and pop covers bands on both acoustic and electronic drum kits his favourite instrument is his DW Kit despite the 'interesting' colour ! For the previous 4 years Al' was the drummer for a top British function / covers band, but he left to form Flashback. As well as playing the drums, Al manages Flashback, does the Sales and Marketing, finance, makes the tea, cleans the toilets etc...
In his spare time Al' enjoys designing and building very high quality audio systems and runs HiFi Cinema Ltd. He also likes to Fly aeroplanes and try to beat his work colleagues at Squash.
Al often plays in studio recording sessions like the one we performed for our demonstration CD.
Zane grew up in south East Spain and began his musical journey on the faithful 'ol banjo at the tender age of 13...er...swiftly moving onto Guitar and playing classical and flamenco styles. And believe it or not, he still has plenty of time for his wife and three lovely daughters !

Steve found a love of music bashing out tunes on his great aunts old piano, playing everything by ear until he found it much easier using his hands. When he was about 5, she gave him the piano probably because she couldn't take any more !
In his late teens, he played in a rock band and then jazz/funk/latin fusion outfit ‘Windscale’. This is still his favourite music genre to date.
He went on to manage The London Synthesiser Centre and became a demonstrator for ARP and Oberheim synthesizers.
After this he joined a showband playing at US military bases throughout Europe. It was here Steve met his wife, Carol, who was the singer with the band. After the tour, they formed a vocal duo and for many years worked in 5 star hotels mainly in the Middle East, before settling back in the UK, and continuing on the hotel circuit here.
For the past few years he has been kept busy supplying entertainers to a hotel group in Spain as well as being a member of a top Abba tribute band working throughout UK. Now Steve has found his roots playing for Flashback playing good honest live music, excercising his rare natural vocal talents as well.
